Kelvin Yu
Kelvin studied at Sydney High from 2002 - 2007 where he first started debating. He progressed from 7Bs to First Grade and can still remember his first and last school debates - both at Sydney Girls. In between he was runner up in the Legacy Junior Public Speaking Final, the GPS Second and First grade competitions and the Hume Barbour State final. He hates the words "Runners Up". Kelvin also debated for CHS First Grade in 2006 and 2007, where he did manage to win something - the Representative's Cup for both years.
Kelvin has debated for the University of Sydney at both the Australian and Australasian Debating Championships in 2008 - but was not allowed into the finals both times. He also adjudicated for the Archdale competition and CHS.
He is studying a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws. Kelvin likes reading Matthew Reilly novels and dislikes referring to himself in the third person.
