Alice Dixon
Alice was raised in the wilderness of the Blue Mountains, having only sporadic exposure to debating tournaments at her alma mata Winmalee High school. Her proudest achievement at school was being crowned the state runner up at the SMH Plain English Speaking Award state final after speaking emphatically on racism in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Since entering university Alice has become an avid debating geek, competing at a national and Australiasian level. She adjudicated the grand final debate of the Australiasian Debating Championships in 2006, was a finalist at the Easters, a national debating tournament in 2007 and in 2008 co-ran the Sydney University debating program.
In her spare time Alice enjoys attempting to complete her Arts Degree,re-reading Jane Austen novels and memorizing Sydney's public transport routes.
