Throughout Term 2 the SRC has been busy working at the projects that were started at the begining of the year. Our number one priority has been to make the Talent Quest a success. Dale Chen (year 11) and Isnad Zaman (year 10) have been working with Sydney Girls to organise the event. It will be held in Week 8 on Friday 19th of June. It has been an eagerly awaited event on the SRC calendar, with numerous acts being signed up. The Environment Committee is working on the rubbish problem at the school. A week long survery has been conducted and the recommendatiosn put forward by the SRC are being made into a report. Dale Chen has been elected as the Noth West regional represenative for the SRC at the regional meeting last Thursday. We have been debating ideas on how to police GPS events so that crowd participation is genuine. Committee's have been created to takle the awareness of what goes into the recycling bins, the slippery stairs around the school and sun protection for students.
